CODEX: Void Dragons

Beliefs:
The Void Dragons beliefs stem from the teachings they receive as
citizens of Salmaris. These revolve around self-reliance, discipline,
determination, dedication, honor, and stability.
Gene Seed:
It is un-clear what chapter's gene-seed the Void Dragons were
originally spawned from, however, the similarities in teachings and tactical
make up makes it likely that they were created from the Salamanders gene
seed, however, this is in no way corroborated, and the truth is unknown.
It is entirely possible that their gene seed is part of the
Ultramarines lineage, as there are no impurities in it whatsoever. What is known,
however, is that the Chapter was founded shortly after the Age of
Apostasy, as an attempt to show the people of the Imperium the dedication of
the Salmaris system as an inspiration (the system was largely
un-affected by this horrible time, as the inquisitive and self sufficient nature
of its inhabitants made it possible for them to see the wretched things
being done was contradictory to their beliefs and what they felt was
the will of the Emperor himself).
Battle Cry:
"May the light of the Emperor's flame guide us," However, this is more
of an affirmation, and is said as a whole by all the warriors present.
Each warrior then bellows his own war cry, trying to come in touch with
the flame inside him, and let it carry out on the wind. The effect of
this is an entire army of massive soldiers screaming at the top of their
lungs. This has more than once cowed the enemy into submission without
a single round being fired.
